We are anchored in Balmain and this is it! The bar crossing was hairy with 30kts gusting to 35 and 2m seas pushing us in. We sailed the entry with the main up which helped to stabilise the boat, as the wind was directly from behind. The anchorage is not great with wind on tide issues and a sand bar that is very close and threatens to beach us as we swing on the tide change.
